  1. I think that it's worth it to have Sweden and Finland in NATO even if that means that Turkey has to be kicked out to do so. Turkey may be strategically located but Sweden and Finland are progressive, liberal democracies that fit in better to NATO than does Turkey which is run by an authoritarian demagogue. As well I think that I would have more faith in Sweden and Finland than in Turkey to send troops to help out if the Baltic states were attacked by Russia. As well I question whether Hungary should still be in NATO given the nature of its current government. And of course the scariest prospect is if MAGA Republicans take power in the United States led by a demagogue and eliminate all semblance of democracy in the country and take the country out of NATO and allign with the dictators, demagogues and strongmen of the world in opposition to democracies.

  2. Sounds like it is time for Turkey to be expelled from NATO and to be replaced by Sweden and Finland that deserve to be in it. A repressive regime run by a autocratic demagogue like Turkey's leader may not appreciate things like free speech and an independent judiciary but Sweden, Finland and NATO countries do.
