@@MattTheAwesomerTaiwan has a huge computer chip industry and makes the best computer chips in the world. It really would not be a good thing for French or American people to have that Taiwan computer chip industry in the control of an aggressive, Imperialist, brutal, bullying Chinese dictatorship that is in league with other brutal dictatorships, in particular the one in Russia. Aside from that it should be concerning to see a major democracy fall to the control of a dictatorship when it seems that autocracies are in a cold war (and sometimes a shooting war) with democracies.

@tianlezheng6829 Taiwan's government has credibility and legitimacy because it was elected by the people in democratic elections. However, the brutal, repressive government in communist mainland China has no credibility or legitimacy to speak for the people because it has never ever been elected in a democratic election. Rather it's just a gang of brutal, ruthless thugs that took power using force and violence and which continues to oppress the Chinese people by the use of force and violence. So the gang of thugs known as the CCP represents nobody but itself. So if you would like the mainland and Taiwan to unite that is a possibility but obviously and logically that combined state would have to be under the control of the government Taiwan which has legitimacy as the representative of the Chinese people. The repressive CCP that does not represent Chinese people would have to be dissolved. Assuming that you are logical and care enough about the Chinese people to believe that they deserve representation in their government and think that the Chinese people deserve to be free of brutal repression let us know when the above unification can occur.

@konstantinospapadopoulos4643 why the heck would the EU form an alliance with the same aggressive mperialist Russian dictatorship that keeps launching unprovoked invasions against democratic European countries to steal territory and which threatens not only Europe but the whole world with nuclear war?
