  2. ​ @HansensUniverseT-A  Obviously the Ukrainian tanks haven't yet been able to do much while they were separated from Russian troops by massive mine fields the size of Florida. Let's wait and see what they do when Ukrainians break through the mine fields and the Ukrainian military and its tanks is finally able to fight directly against Russian forces.

I'm not sure that I get the big obsession with winter slowing things down soon According to one source for Odessa January is the only month in which the mean daily temperature is below zero (barely) at minus 0.2 degrees celcius and October, December and January are among the months with the lowest precipitation (August & September are 1st and 3rd for most precipitation). And if these numbers are to be believed Odessa has only an average of 1.2 inches of rain in December and 1.2 inches of rain in January and has precipitation only about 5 or 6 days each month. So Odessa does not have brutal Siberian winters or even Moscow winters. Though some have said that fighting in temperatures around freezing is more difficult than fighting in colder temperatures when the ground is solidly ftozen.
