UK and the United States didn't attack Ukraine. Russia did.

Glad that there is someone commenting who is not a Russian troll or bot.

@wilardabestano6794 Russia has conscripted many hundreds of thousands of men to make up for all the Russian casualties. Putin doesn't care how many Russian and Ukrainian men die or are wounded as long as he can keep pretending that he is Peter the Great.

Clearly you don't understand the difference between young people and elderly people. The young people have moved to safer places in Ukraine and are working in places where there are not so many Russian terrorist attacks disrupting things. The young men may even be in the army. Old people on the other hand don't like change and don't want to leave homes in which they have lived half a century so they stay where they are despite the Russian terrorist attacks. So now you understand.

Or imperialist Russia could just stop launching unprovoked imperialist genocidal invasions into other countries. Problem solved.
1
@Para_Ninja You mean the Minsk extortion plan that is completely meaningless because Ukraine was forced to sign it at the point of Russian guns. The important agreement was the one in which Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons and in return Russia promised to respect Ukrainian sovereignty. Terrorist imperialist Russia has broken that promise three times with three horrific invasions into Ukraine. All that is needed for peace is for Russia to move out of the 17th century and into the 21st century and behave like other European countries and stop launching unprovoked genocidal imperialist invasions into peaceful countries.
1
No. That's ridiculous. Russia has a naval base in Russia. It doesn't need Odessa. Ukraine needs Odessa to export its grains. And when Russia says it wants countries to be neutral it means that it wants them to have no allies when Russia invades them. It is critical that Ukraine become part of NATO for protection. And Transnistria isn't even a real country. It's part of Moldova which has access to the sea so your comment makes zero sense.
1
You really hear a lot of strange stories on Russian state media. Best you stop wasting your time listening to Russian state media.
1
@dimensional3926 No Ukrainian defences? How goes the Russian three day special military operation to capture Kiev and conquer Ukraine?
1
If only Putin could figure that out Europe would be at peace.
1
Why do you adore terrorist attacks on innocent people and cities? That's not normal. In fact that is how a psychopath would think.
1
Utter nonsense. In the past three decades the terrorist imperialist Russian regime has launched at least seven unprovoked imperialist invasions into nearby countries to steal territory from those countries. Each time the country that Russia invaded was neutral and not in NATO. Neutral Ukraine alone has been invaded three times by Russia. Neutrality doesn't make a country safe from Russian attack - Quite the opposite. Russia likes countries to be neutral so that they don't have allies when Russia invades them.

@PerceivedREALITY999 Hope that you get twice as many rubles for your huge effort Russian troll. Maybe you can afford to get lunch and dinner tomorrow.
1
Ukrainian army isn't defeated and nobody ever said that Ukraine had won the war. Putin's bromance partner and Russian lobbiest Trump managed to get Republicans to delay American military supplies for Ukraine for half a year. And Putin doesn't care a bit how many Russian men die in the war so he keeps dragging hundreds of thousands of Russian men into the military. So now you understand.
1
Russia is fighting only against Ukraine, a country much much smaller than it and the three day Russian special military operation has taken well over two years so far with massive losses of Russian men and military equipment. Pretty pathetic. And Russia has been begging Belarus, Chechnya, Syria, Iran, China and North Korea for help. No doubt other countries as well. Again a pathetic performance. Remember how fast American forces defeated the Iraq army? That is what a super power can do. Russia can't do that.
1
Then why did Russia attack Ukraine? Why has Russia launched seven unprovoked imperialist invasions into nearby countries to steal territory over just the past three decades? Why does China keep threatening the countries around it? Why does North Korea keep threatening the countries around it?
1
@RUTHLESSambition5 What are you ranting about Russian troll? Ukraine never attacked Russia. But Russia broke its promises and has invaded Ukraine three times plus Russia has launched at least four other unprovoked imperialist invasions into nearby countries over just the past three decades. Russia can never be trusted.
1
Russia is completely untrustworthy. There's little point talking to the Russian leadership. It's like negotiating peace with a pack of hyenas. You would have more luck with the hyenas.
1
Why do you have a terrorist flag on your profile? Strongly suggest that you not cross any borders. Countries don't like pro-tertorism extremists trying to sneak into their countries. You won't get a friendly reception.
1
I don't think so. A lot of rich Russians are still in Russia. They're not particularly welcome in a lot of countries.
1
There was a deal. When Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons Russia promised to respect Ukrainian sovereignty. But you would have better luck making a deal with a pack of hyenas than with Russian leaders.
1
Why has Russia donated so many tanks to Ukraine during the war. Russia is Ukraine's biggest tank supplier. And when Russia has lost half of the tanks it took 80 years to accumulate. Very strange that Russia is so generous.
1
Russia has been launching terrorist attacks on Ukraine for ten years and then Russians complain saying "Hey. Ukraine isn't allowed to hit back". Pathetic hypocrites.
1
The accents weren't that strong. And insisting that every reporter for a German media site be from an English speaking country seems a bit strange.
1
You need to readjust your numbers. Russia has had about 500,000 Casualties and those soldiers aren't coming back. Ukraine has had far fewer Casualties because Ukrainian officers and leaders actually value the lives of their men. Though Russia still has more men than does Ukraine because Putin doesn't care a bit how many Russian soldiers die as long as he can keep playing make believe that he is Peter the Great.
1
The main problem is that Republicans delayed aid to Ukraine for half a year. Hardly a new thing as Trump tried to delay military equipment for Ukraine when he was in office. If Mike Johnson had not delayed aid for half a year things would be very different. Ukraine was holding its own just fine until Trump got Johnson to delay military aid.
1
@Donsam55 Do Russian trolls even know what a real election is? I doubt it very much.
1
Russian trolls are busy again desperately posting as much as possible to make enough rubles to pay their bills. Inflation in Russia must be a lot worse than the Russian government admits. Every time a Russian troll puts out sny post is more evidence that things are really bad in Russia.... and that Russian trolls are desperate to prove their devotion and worth as trolls so they dont get sent to the front. And Russian trolls really seem to focus on DW. They seem to have the delusion that they can fool people into thinking that living in impoverished Russia with no heat or electricity in the winter time is better than living in Germany. Nobody is buying that nonsense
1
No it's not. Do you live where every single person grew up speaking English as their first language or something strange like that? Don't you have anyone from any other country in your city? Over half the people in my city are from other countries. I figured that having lots of accents is normal.
1
@lilacer6841 Gee you're right for once Russian troll. The Russian media said that Russia was not going to invade Ukraine and the Russian dictatorship was so sure that there was no war in Ukraine that it arrested people who said that there was a war in Ukraine. So obviously there is no war in Ukraine- at least according to Russian media so Russian forces clearly haven't captured anything.
