It will be interesting to watch what happens to news coverage if in 7 years cable TV disappears due to loss of subscribers and with it MSNBC cable news, CNN cable news and Fox cable news also all disappear. It will be especially interesting as at the same time many print newspapers may disappear or at least end up carrying much less original content. Saw an academic paper today predicting that ultimately all printed news will disappear with the possible exception of some news magazines. Interesting that all that could happen at once but also somewhat concerning.
