@EenYouTubeGebruiker If Russia is forced to send crude oil to India to be refined and then buy it back at a higher price and also pay a lot of money for all that extra shipping back and forth that's certainly better than Russia being able to refine its own oil in Russia. But you are right that there is only so much refinery capacity around the world so that a shortage of refinery capacity in Russia could lead to an increase in the cost of refined products everywhere. And refineries take a lot of time and money to build. There have been hardly any refineries built in North America for many decades and when Alberta built a new refinery it turned into somewhat of a financial disaster because refineries are so expensive.

@traumvonhaiti Voters can support aid to Ukraine and support women's right to an abortion and the politicians who support one of those also generally support the other so I don't see a problem for voters.

@sixmillionaccountssilenced6721 Actually Ukraine is a sovereign country. Don't you remember Russian troll? The whole purpose of the unprovoked genocidal invasion into Ukraine by your terrorist imperialist Russian forces is to try to end the sovereignty of Ukraine. Don't you pay attention at meetings at your Russian troll workplace? Try to pay more attention. If they find you dozing off at a meeting one more time it's off to the front for you.

@lindsaydempsey5683 There's only so much available in the American strategic reserve and the American government can't keep using it for a lengthy war. What happens if oil refineries on the Gulf Coast get hit by a hurricane and there are no strategic reserves left?

So Russian troll, you claim that Ukrainian attacks that have cut production by Russian oil refineries by about 13% have helped Russia. Then perhaps you should suggest to your superiors that Russia shut down 80% of its refinery capacity. That surely will benefit Russia immensely.....at least according to your logic. No doubt next you'll claim that having half of its working tanks destroyed was good for Russia because then it had more scrap metal available.

So American officials are telling Ukrainians fighting for survival and who are enduring countless terrorist attacks on Ukrainian civilians, "A lot of American voters are really stupid and ignorant and blame the American president if changes in international energy markets cause gasoline prices to go up so you need to stop attacking Russian oil refineries that provide fuel for the Russian terrorist forces attempting to destroy your country"? Insanity. You couldn't make this up.
