  1. American aid to Ukraine has helped a lot but according to one source in terms of aid to Ukraine as a percentage of GDP the United States stood 17th as of this June. Canada and a significant number of European countries placed ahead of the United States in this category.

  2. One huge concern is that Trump could end the freezing of Russian government financial assets in the United States. Russia's government has been heading towards economic catastrophe but this would make its financial situation considerably better. Though presumably other countries would still keep Russian financial assets frozen. Perhaps the Biden administration should have just handed those frozen Russian financial assets over to Ukraine so that Trump has no power to do anything about it.

  3. I know that you were just speaking very hypothetically and speculatively but to include the term "humanitarian concerns" in a sentence about Donald Trump never makes any sense. This is a guy who seemed quite indifferent to the fact that the mob he sent to attack the Capital had some people who were shouting that they wanted to murder his own vice president.

  4. The United States is infected with the MAGA virus which is constantly causing some negative symptoms and sometimes flares up to make the country extremely sick and mentally unhinged. That makes the United States questionable as a reliable supplier of military products. Though Russia, China, India, Iran, Turkey and Israel have their own problems that make them questionable as reliable suppliers.

  6. ​ @kurtwicklund8901  Trump gave the Taliban everything they wanted and got nothing in return and he will likely do the same for Putin. So much for the great deal maker. Russia is an impoverished, run down, deteriorating Eastern European country heading towards military, economic and political catastrophe while the United States is the most powerful country in history and its economy is booming and yet Trump is going to effectively surrender to Putin just as he did to the Taliban. "Strong man" is actually pretty weak.
