Seems these days that a lot of people want their country to follow the path of South Korea and not take in a significant number of immigrants and be doomed to become a country with a much smaller population and a very elderly population at that. And as well to keep their country free of the diversity that would make their country more interesting to live in and more vibrant and dynamic and better able to create business ties with more countries. Sure, carefully select immigrants based on language fluency, education, experience and ability to fill labour shortages in critical areas such as health care and home construction but don't abandon immigration all together.

  2. Remigration? Why the heck would someone migrate to Europe a second time when they are already living in Europe? That makes no sense. And family oriented policies sounds like code words for only supporting certain types of families but not supporting other types of families.
