  1. Don't waste your time watching this video. I certainly didn't. Canada's skyrocketing population growth rate in recent years jumped even higher when in the third quarter of 2023 alone Canada's population shot up by over 430,000 people in just 3 months. That would work out to a 4.3% growth rate on an annual basis. Canada hasn't seen population growth like that since 1957 when the baby boom was booming. Most recent data has only two countries with a population growth rate that high and most assuredly those two countries are growing because of extremely high fertility rates, not because of immigrants moving there from other countries. To give another comparison, the UK which is the fastest growing G7 country other than Canada, grew by 5.9% total over TEN FULL YEARS from 2011 to 2021. So as in any place that is extremely desirable, rents and real estate prices are high and rising in Canada and apartments are hard to find but clearly a lot of people want to move to Canada - certainly vastly more than want to leave Canada. Seems that this video is the usual clickbait internet thing. If one believed all the pessimistic online videos talking about how various countries are in disastrous downward spirals one would conclude that the entire world is soon going to end.
