It's very bizarre how far right politicians in Europe are indifferent to or support Russian imperialist ambitions. Politicians in Eastern Germany in particular should understand that Russian imperialism can lead to the effective end of the independence of their country and the end of freedom for the people of their country. If Russia ever occupied Germany again those politicians from the eastern part of Germany would be reduced to having a role asking "How high?" every time their Russian overlords ordered them to jump.

@gvibration1 That's a ridiculous comment. Do you always struggle to understand that one incident or even a few incidents in which a few victims are victims does not mean that 80 million people are subject to such incidents? The other year a woman in Canada survived after a meteorite crashed into the bed in which she was sleeping. I assume that as a result you will never travel to Canada because you now have the delusion that people in Canada regularly get hit by meteorites. Actually I'm surprised that you would feel safe in Poland. In 2022 two people were killed in Poland by a stray missile related to the war in Ukraine so using your "logic" being hit and killed by a missile is a common thing in Poland. Think. Just think for once.

@Chris-xz8fm Poland has less than half the population of Germany and during 2023 suffered the largest population decline of any EU country (its 6th straight year of population decline). Even if that doesn't account for the influx of Ukrainian refugees to Poland that still shows that Poland has a serious problem with long term demographic decline. Germany, on the other hand, last year had the EU's second highest population increase after Spain. The people of Poland may be becoming richer as individuals but Poland doesn't have a large enough population to dominate Europe economically. There's no sign that in future Poland will ever have a population comparable to that in Germany, France or Britain. And it will be a very long time before Italy's population ever falls to the same level as that of Poland if that ever happens at all. As well as the population of Poland decreases and the population of Spain increases the gap between the two becomes greater and greater. Poland can't dominate the economy of Europe when five other well developed European countries have far larger populations.
