  1. ​@@Besthinktwice I'd be curious to see a survey asking Polish voters regret changes over the past 3 decades and think Poland was better off as a communist country without full independence from Soviet/Russian influence. I suspect that not many Poles are nostalgic for the days of the 1970s. Though you do make an interesting point. There must be political pressure to play up the benefits of being a capitalist country in the EU. Many Polish parents and grandparents who saw their child head west for better paying jobs must think, "I just want my child to come back and live nearby where I can see them more often".
