The Russian government and Russian trolls like to talk as if Ukraine and the west attacked Russia but never talk about why none of Russia's defensive alliance partners came to its aid if that was really the case. I think that if the United States and other western countries provided adequate aid to Ukraine then Russia's situation will become worse and worse regardless of how much Russian authorities try to create an illusion of economic growth by pumping up military spending.
