"Crushing blow to US president"... what a joke, but of course it makes sence if you're delisonal living in a dream world. US doesn't care what the 57 k people think, or 5.7 mil Danes think if it comes to US security. If you look at history, every time an dominant power lost their standing in the world, their lands, or colonies got acquired by other empires looking to expand. Danes, acquired what they could when they were strong, now they become defenceless and other empires will simply claim their lands. It doesn't matter which one will do it, US, China, or Russia. The danes simply faded away, just like England, or France. US will take their colony by force if necessary. All the Danes can do is present some treaties, and pieces of paper of "ownership". None of it won't matte

That's not true. Americans see greenlnad the same way as they see alaska or hawaii. People of Greenland don't have anything to say as to the entirety of the island. They'll be gifted a few selltlements on the south of the island, Danes will be left with nothing, and US will claim the rest. After all, US already has 100 percent controll of the island militarly.
