  1. Historicly EVERY single military partneship between countries has ended one way or another. Those partnerships only last as long as it is beneficial to the participating sides. US has a lot to loose if it backs out of greenland acquosition, probably far than loosing a European partner of two. Backing out of greenland acquosition will be one of the BIGGEST strategic mistakes US will do. Just imagine if Alaska wasn't a part of the union, but a part of some foreign power. I hope congress and senate recognizes this, and acts accordingly in the long term interest of the country.
