If government and jurisdictional authorities know about this, are totally aware of the real situation with all types of insurance and yet, allow it to happen - then they are the true partners and accessories to crime of all those crooks. It also means that as far it will continue and we will be quiet - nothing will ever change.

  3. Many thanks. Well, it's easy to say: "stay calm"... Many years ago, I was in a situation, when the driver of another pickup that followed me showed me a knife. I did pretty much as you said: I just yielded to the road and slowed down letting him go. I also tried to analyse myself, a sort of reverse-thinking: what I might have done, that could draw this behaviour. Since then, I've been trying to double check myself and be careful of what I might do or not do to avoid such.

  5. Interesting. I would suggest that the number of tickets mainly depend on the time of a year (e.g. around Chrisatmas) and location. Same as the number of arrests would depend on the area (such as high human traffic and drugs etc), rather than of specific officers.👍

  8. Not long ago we had a community meeting organised by the city counselor with local Police related to the significant increase of crime rate in the area. I asked him the same question and got pretty much the same anwer. He also mentioned that if an intruder sees no firearm in your hands, with high chance he may not open fire. And on the contrary, if he sees a gun in your hands he most likely opens fire first. Better, forget the gun, lock yourself in safest room, call the police and cooperate with an intruder as needed.🙄
