Edit: i m pro nato , but we shouldn t be dependent sole on the americans to defend ourselves . And again that s none of your business ,you are out . You may not like it cause uk wil be dwarfed , but that s going to happen if the eu people choose so.

@AB-ye8no i know nato is composed of 30 countries. But all of europe relays too much on american protection . What i m saying is , europe should be capable of defending itself without nato , like the us is , but still be in nato . Edit: got the sarcasm , just explaining my view.

@pickleonions4277 eu has organised financially better than US or UK , and i didn t say to dismantle nato , just reduce it s importance in european defence by strenghtening our own .

@ericboxer3053 as i said , regarding an eu army , the eu can t just push this policy without the agreement of the citizens . It s about an army , that requires people to form the army , and if the people don t support an eu army , no one would enlist , so there won t be an army . It s common sense.
