Man this new conference was packed full of information. Not just on the status of electrical and telecom but information on how citizens should document their insurance claims, how to get help if they need it as well as how friends outside of Florida can help beyond giving cash. Absolutely amazing.

So who is going to jail? Anyone? Yeah.... until that happens, this is all lip service.

Watching the constituents of Chicago step up to that podium like this... with receipts and a solid understanding of their rights... makes me so happy. I don't care who they are or what party they tend to vote for. The constitution is the foundation of this country. Its the standard in which our government conducts itself. Its up to each individual citizen to hold our public servants accountable. They serve at the pleasure of We the People... and apparently they need to be reminded of that fact on the daily, lest they forget.

That whole "thank you for your question, Senator" is a stall tactic. Senators have a limited amount of time to ask their questions and every time they make that statement, it chips away three seconds of that time usually adding up to one less question per Sentaor.

Love that Grassley read their oath of office right at the start.

You can't tell the public what was discussed about the public whilst earning a salary afforded by the Public. Thats interesting.

0:56 HIs kid is adorable. When he put his hand on her head, she freezes and gets the "Uh-oh am I in trouble?" look on her face. haha

I was at my local township supervisors meeting recently where one of the three supervisors lost his temper and threw a tantrum. During this tantrum, he stood up, pointed at a female citizen who had been criticizing him and said "I am the boss, now sit down and shut up". When another Supervisor stood up to him, he barked at that Supervisor to "sit down" as well. I have purchased this supervisor a copy of the Pocket Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States of America published by the CATO institute and sent it to his home address. Hopefully he understands the message and corrects his behavior. If not, We the People of our Township will most definitely be expressing our constitutional rights according to the bylaws established in our Township Charter..

My community says the pledge of allegiance before every local township meeting. Its a reminder of why we are all there.

I worked full time on third shift while a full time student at University. I did this because my employer offered 50% tuition reimbursement to full time employees with no limit. My paychecks barely covered books, lab fees, food and rent. On breaks I picked up a second part time job. For five years I had zero sleep before finally graduating with a degree in microbiology. I sacrificed five years of my life to get that degree while my roommates took out student loans and partied all four years. The thought of these clowns getting their debt wiped out makes me sick to my stomach... and if it happens, I am retiring early. Tee government can kiss my taxable income goodbye.

Can we start filing HIPAA violation suits against the US Government and employers that are insisting that we give them our private healthcare information? PCR tests cost an average $160. For Federal contractors making minimum federal wage, that's 1/4 of their weekly paycheck.

Agree. She knew she was on the clock and so she came prepared and eager to maximize her opportunity. Very nice.

How is refusing to produce a witness to congress not contempt? If I attempted to tell my Vice President that I refuse to let him ask my direct reports questions about their work, I would be immediately fired.
23
The time for him to answer questions about Hunters business was BEFORE the 2020 election!
22
Tim Scott laying it out plain, simple and professional. I'm a fan.
19
Is it shoplifting if she believes that everything is communal property? haha
17
Mike Lee seems like a grade A genuine guy. All his words are well thought and factual. Good job Utah... for electing a genuinely decent human being as your representative.
17
There is a word for Government "partnering with" private corporations and "charitable" non governmental organizations (NGOs) to circumvent the constitution / laws that prevent them for performing these actions themselves. That word is fascism. The actions of these people are fascist. Right out of the Benito playbook.
16
Yep!! Go on now... git!
16
Someone help me out here. If there are laws on the books that have been violated, does that not constitute a crime? Shouldn't those persons breaking the laws be arrested and charged?
14
She is just spewing words. Answer the questions and leave out the blah blah, lady.

Glad to hear you are at least considering it. The reality is that there are Republicans who also need to be voted out in primaries. The current over reach is unacceptable, but there are past over reaches that need to be corrected. For example, the Patriot Act needs to be eliminated, or at least significantly amended... yet neither party seems eager to do that.
11
This over reach has to stop. If a puddle forms in my field after a heavy rain, they cannot call it a wetland, tell me I can't drain it or declare it a protected isolated body of water.
10
Lets go Justin!

Sorry it took this dumpster fire of an administration for you to see our value, but I am glad you are starting to understand us a bit better. Please keep in mind that not all conservatives are Republicans. Some of us are constitutionalist libertarians who believe the Federal Government should have very limited power and needs to be controlled by We the People aka the States and Commonwealths that comprise our Republic. :) Like Ron said at 0:16... we are the United States of America. The Federal government hasn't the authority to do most of what they've been doing over the last year. Heck, they've been outside of their lane for decades now. Time to not so gently pull them back in to their lane. For the record... there is not a darn thing wrong with your being a progressive. I think most have good intentions. So you keep doing you. If you live in a progressive state, there is nothing stopping your state from paying off student loans for its citizens or providing free healthcare to all... if that is what the majority of the citizens in your state wants. Just don't ask the other states to pay for it and we are cool. I think that's fair.

@waynekerr5728 We care about the poor alot... but instead of just giving them lip service, we donate to food pantries and funds to homeless shelters. We ask our POTUS to create opportunities through development zones. Liberals, on the other hand, tackle poverty by making it illegal to be poor / homeless and by making people dependent on the government. Have you actually looked at the programs DJT put in place? Did you happen to notice that the minority unemployment rate was the lowest in history before Joey took office and immediately started to unwind DJT's policies?

As a libertarian, I don't understand why my tax dollars are going towards caring for other people's children so they can enter the labor market... increasing labor supply which decreases wages and enables them to compete with me for opportunities. Mitt says "raise our children"? What you are talking about is handing off YOUR children to complete strangers for them to raise... and requiring other complete strangers to pitch in for it.

Imagine if he were a cadet and his sergeant major had asked him that same question. Would this response have been acceptable? The answer is clearly no.
6
@martywanlass4774 Take care of everyone? Please define "everyone".
6
Yep. Time to primary the snot out of them. Mitchums barely won last go around. Its time for him to collect his lifetime pension.
6
Bingo! They resemble them because they ARE the same people.
6
because Christians are the same across all 45,000 denominations? Your ignorance is daunting.
6
Yep. I put him in the same category as Pelosi.
6
@beckyyoung2173 It is pretty well known that those pins were used by the feds to identify "friendlies".
5
Hey once they get UNH to get their systems with my private health information safe and secure, maybe they can ask them why they are laying off US citizen employees while continuing to hire foreign employees here on a guest work visa. I'd really like to know that.
5
More than a patriot... he is a leader. I am looking to Florida to handle this because the politicians in my own state won't do it. That will be addressed in the next election cycle, but in the meantime, the future of my career lies on the hands of Ron DeSantis and governors like him.
4
@SlicebergPizza Explanation?
4
2:40 Try again Mitchums. We already know what Joey is doing wrong. We want to hear about what Republicans will do to fix Joey's screw ups if the they are given the house and senate. Let me be clear... if Republicans focus on "Joey bad" instead of spelling out a plan to take our country forward during the mid term elections.... I will be voting Libertarian.

Nobody forced them to take on this debt. If they feel like they did not receive value for their education dollar, then maybe they should file suit against their university instead of asking those of use who paid for our own education to foot the bill.

@AndyNYouTube Those vaccinations went through extensive testing, are known to be safe with very few side effects and are proven to PREVENT infection and transmission of those diseases. Not a single one of the jabs can say any of those things... and recent studies posted on the NIH website show that the infection and hospitalization rate of vaccinated individuals are actually greater than the unvaccinated. 🤡
4
What blows my mind is that it cost the tax payers millions in salary and benefits just for the event in this clip to occur.
4
Thanks for saying. Constructive criticism is expected from our friends across the pond. Speaking for us, however, is not typically well received.
4
Every day more information is presented showing these vaccines are not as advertised. Efficacy keeps decreasing. Infections and hospitalizations of vaccinated are increasing. We went from "soften the curve" and "Trump can't make us take it" to "zero infections" to "Ooops need a booster cause it only lasts 4 to 6 months". Meanwhile democrats and the media went out of their way to suppress oral medications that are proven to halt the replication of most RNA viruses. These vaccinations are snake oil. There are better options. They know there are better options. The studies saying so are posted on the NIH website.

I don't live in South Dakota, but aren't property taxes levied by local governments and not state or federal? Or are they saying that state statutes allow for local government to do it without voter approval? Here in Pennsylvania, our local and county can raise property taxes up to 12 mil a year... every year... indefinitely... without voter approval.

I actually cannot find fault with wanting gas stoves to be more efficient. We all do. More efficient stoves would save consumers money. What I disagree with is the way she is going about it. Instead of an unelected official mandating that the manufacturers make changes... giving them all an excuse to increase prices... they should require efficiency labels like they do with hot water heaters and furnaces and then trust that the free market would drive manufacturers to increase the efficiency in order to be competitive. Regulation should never interfere with the free market. It impedes innovation.

Not sure where this man's head is at, but we all pay in to social security as part of our personal income tax. Wanna talk about fair? Lets talk about handing social security benefits to illegals as well as immigrants visa holders who haven't paid a dime in to it.

@jillionairess Nurses in my area are making 6 figures. They can afford a house just fine. Try again sport.
3
How do you know its just 1% are you El Chapos cousin or something?
3
@rubberduckian2538 You okay Bud?
3
@blessingjohnchelliah4317 False narrative. Spending would have to be prioritized. We the People demand fiscal responsibility. All that is required is to not spend more than was spent last year. Thats it.
