Its a master class on how to put clowns in check while maintaining your chill.

Side hustles bud. Look around and see what your neighbors need... and then offer to do it for a fair price. Example: I bale all of my neighbors hay fields for them. Saves them from having to spend the time as well as buy and maintain the equipment. I get paid in hay bales. Win-win.

Amen Pork Chop. Blows my mind that kids just out of college would expect to afford a brand new home in the city whilst ordering door dash every night, owning all new gear and driving a brand new car. Its like they expect to have a millionaire lifestyle without having to earn a million.

So true. We older folks who have done well still worry about the economy. Partly for ourselves, considering that the money we saved our entire lives keeps getting diluted by the government... but we also worry for our children, our friends children and all the other youngens who come after us. To imply that we do not just because we have a toy like a boat or a sports car us insane.

18:40 Women now earn more than men in white collar jobs. Why is that? Oh its because women earn degrees at a higher rate than men. Why is that? Its because women are given special admission standards where they can gain admission over another applicant with higher achievement purely based on the fact that they have girl bits. They get more scholarship and grant awards than men. They are less likely to have to work while in school compared to men. Why is that? Is this what they refer to as "equality"? Doesn't seem equal to me.

5:15 Ummm... that guy did not work a 9-5 his entire life. He served his country 24/7 long enough to retire and get a pension. Then he worked at the power plant until retirement. He busted his hump and sacrificed his entire adult life to get where he is at. Nobody handed it to him. He earned it through hard work and good decisions. Youngens can find a good affordable home if they want. Sure it might not be in their preferred neighborhood, but such is life. My first home was in a poor neighborhood and needed to be gutted down to studs. My second home was in a better neighbor hood but still needed a ton of work to it. The farm house I live in now was also a complete gut and renovation. This expectation that brand new homes in the city should be affordable for kids right of college blows my mind. If you want the stuff, you have to work, mae sacrifices and sometimes bleed for it... same as everyone else before you.
