  1. Back when I still dated, I made dinner reservations for 7pm and invited a young lady friend to join me. Since I am not an idiot, I told her I would pick her up at 5 PM to give some cushion in case she was running late. I arrive and knock on her door. She doesn't answer. I text her and no reply. I go back to the car, wait five minutes and then knock on her door again. This time she opens the door... phone in her ear. She doesn't even acknowledge me and hasn't started getting ready. I turn around, walk back to my car and leave. I immediately call my elderly Aunt (now passed) who lived nearby and ask her if she wanted to go to dinner with me. She agrees and I tell her I'll be there in ten minutes but not to rush. I arrive and my Aunt is already waiting on her porch ready to go. She gets in the car and we head to the restaurant. About half way there I start getting texts from the young lady asking why I left and if we were still going to dinner. My Aunt asked me who was sending me all the messages. My response.... "Nobody important Auntie. How is it you got ready so quickly?" and she says "What do you mean? I just had to grab my purse and change shoes." Thats the difference between a classic elegant woman and a 304. An elegant woman gets "ready" at the start of every day. Its part of the routine. At most they might change their shoes or get out their "dinner out" set of pearls. A 304 waits until she has to get ready and then scrambles.
