I had a newer BMW 750Li xDrive and then a 20 year old pickup truck that I used to haul construction material for the house I was renovating as well as winter beater. When I picked up women for the first date, I always drove the truck. Her reaction told me a lot about what she was about. I threw in the towel on dating years ago so now when a woman asks me what I do for a living (aka how much I make) I tell them I am a farmer. Oh and I ditched the BMWs and just drive old trucks now.

  3. 18:35 What women don't understand is that most men MUST have a handle on all things at once. Things we constantly conscious of are: 1. Danger / risk assessment 2. Cause and effect. If I take this action, what are the consequences. This leads to... 3. Cost benefit analysis as well as... 4. Return on investment. Money yes... but time and attention as well. and... 5. Short and long term financial impacts. Will this be an asset to the family for future generations 6. Short and long term impact on others we care about. Will we need to ask for sacrifices from the family. 7. Once we have a plan, we need to consider order of operations 8. Available resources 9. If we can do it ourselves or will need help. Those are just a few things I can think of off the top of my head. Add more if I missed any.
