Doable plan on paper which I think will fail, noting its not only the USA China will be fighitng but probably all of NATO, Australia, New Zealand, possibly Japan, South Korea, and India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore. and its not only military the death knell to China will be economic , total economic sanctions along with blockade of air and sea trading routes, impounding Chinese shipping seizing of Chinese good,, properties of Chinese oligarhcs and citizens, the works. Chinese economy would collapse in that kind of siege, in this war, I can see the only Chinese allies being Russia and North Korea and by 2025, Russia wil be a non player having been really weakened by the war in Ukraine, North Korea will act as a distraction in the Korean peninsula. distracting Japan and South Korea, and even South Africa, will have to follow sanctions against CHina or be totally isolated. and with a economic collapse comes military defeat. consequences for China will be really really bad. No one will invade China but China itself might collapse into civil war, back to the 1920s warlord era for China. So China would really really be stupid to do this plan.

  6. I expect the Ukrs to continue their offensives into winter. I believe the winter offfensives will center on the donbass. Yes the Russians may have abandoned Kherson but the right bank of the Dniepr is heavilly fortified nope a folly to attack that so the way to liberate the rest of Kherson is the long route through Donbass.

China I think is trying to change its energy dependence, by turning Russia into a puppet, the Ukraine war has given China an opening to make Russia into a servant providing China with secure and cheap oil , gas resources. China wants a stable but subservient Russia under its control, barring that, China will probably settle in creating ex Russian puppet states and exploit their resoures, as well as being the gateway to Central Asia and the Caucasus. Its all about cheap and secure energy supplies for China to build its power

However I think Russia will post war in the 2020s from 2023 will lose about 25 percent of its pre Ukraine war Territory, which will balkanize into indpendent republics, mostly in the Caucasus and east of the Urals. Moscow will probably retain most of hte land esp. European Russian west of the Urals. This will occur to the economc collapse of Russia and Russia having to demobilize its armed forces due to a depressed economy. Along with Politicla chaos with Pro Western Democrats vs. Anti Western Nationalist putinist vs. seperatists. Russia will become a great game proxy war between the USA and China. for its resources. and for China a window to Central Asia. and the Caucasus.

Im thinking Crimea wont be taken by the Ukrs by force, but the Ukrs will take it back via negotiation. after the war is over and Putin out of the picture, after thsi war is over, Russia wll be bankrupt facing economic collapse and civil war. The new Moscow gov will probably beg the west for support. and yep hey why not sell Crimea to the west. total withdrawal of Russian forces in Crimea in exchange for economic aid. maybe even throw in non prosecution of Russian war criminals though Im not surprised Ukraine wll covertly hunt these guys down and assasinate them .

  18. my view is that in the face of a defeat in Ukraine, you have hundreds of thousands of Russian troops in Ukraine going back to Russia, these troops are very angry at the Russian gov. since their army treated them badly in the field, low supplies, their friends dying due to poor Russian leadership, probably not paid, probably psychotic , experience in killing people. , have good experience in using military weapons. many of these troops come from Russian republics which historically have been rebellious to Moscow, they go back to a Russia that discriminates them for not being a white Russian, being poor, and for losing the war. these soldiers will be blamed by Russians for losing the war. and worse yet, not even paid for their time in Ukraine. just like in the first chechen war, many Russian soldiers were abandoned many were not even paid. going back to a economically depressed Russia with political and economic chaos, with civil unrest and disorder . Yep wonder what those hundreds of thousands of pyschologically shell shocked angry former Russian soldiers will do. Then that will be the Russian civil war.

  21. Yep the Israeli far right are just waiting for a flare up in the west bank. However I think Abbas leader of Fatah is not stupid, so he will try to reign in his own people. meanwhile Hamas in Israel is as good as dead, I predict war will end in mid 2024 with Gaza formally annexed by Israel , its population many deported to internment camps in the Negev then later repatriated to the west bank or to other countries. I think about 25 percent of the original Palestenian population will remain but Israel will rebuild Gaza and make it a formal Israeli territory and city and ship in Jewish settlers into Gaza and give them free land. Also to bolster the population foreign migrant workers will be shipped in. Area will be built up and developed. After about 250K Palestenian casualties and 25K IDF casualties. and Gaza in ruins looking like Berlin 1945.

  24. I dont think declaring the annexed Ukrainian territories will motivated Russian troops to fight hard for them Russians are not stupid. they know what is up. If you saw the riots happening in Russia with teh forced drafts and the kind of recruits they are getting hahahah, well they will most probably use tac nukes to win the war. If that happens, well, supposedly the USA warned the Russians if that happened, it would be war with NATO starting with teh USA sinking the black sea fleet and missle attack on Russian bases in the Crimea and occupied Ukraine. for starters. I heard that Putin was considering either WMDs or mobilization after the Russian defeat in Kharkov, but decided on mobilization as Putin was scared of hte US response to the Russian use of WMDs.

  29. well another aspect of Economic war not mentioned here is the Russian economy's reliance on its oil and gas exports which is around 25 percent of its economy. When the gas prices crash to say 20s to 40s USD. due to a global recession, a global economic recession will result an oil price crash, the Russian economy will also crash and Russia will find it very very difficult to finance its war in Ukraine. Hence I think Russia's defeat in Ukraine will not be due to the Ukrainians pushing them out but a collapse of its economy and ability to fund the war. The Russian defeat in Ukraine probably in 2023 will be very similiar to that of the end of the first chechen war, where Russia just gives up and abandons its troops and equipment in Ukraine. since it does not have the finances to pay for the withdrawal. Well the Russians will blame Putin for their problems. that 80 percent wont be that when the economy collapses.

  31. planning and reality is very different, i think what will happen post Ukraine war, Belarus gets rid of Lukashenko a liberal democratic pro west regime takes over and does free elections later, and Belarus in 20 years gets accepted into the EU and NATO. Russia goes into civil war. Putin is named by Russians as the worst leader in its history. Russia is a mess for ten years or so and loses 50 percent of its territory to secession.

  34. if I was Putin , I would be putting all my guns in capturing Kharkov and maybe even odessa(probably not). and esp. esp. Kiev. after doing that and consolidating my captured territories I would set up a puppet gov. in Kiev and declare some sort of victory and do a ceasefire and say that I am stopping the war since the war is over kiev has been captured and those still fighting or the Ukr gov. which probably set up in Lvov is a illegal one. That is the only way Putin can save face and get out of this war and politically survive. So Kiev in my opinion is key to this war, the longer Kiev holds out and turns into a meatgrinder, the more the Russians will clamor for the war to end. and even if Russia captures Kiev, it will not really be in a state to conquer the whole of Ukraine as the Ukrainians will continue to fight and probably fight harder. EU NATO USA, will not stop sanctions until the Russians withdraw all their troops from Ukraine. and the Ukrainians will continue to fight and do attacks on Russian forces. Putin really fucked up put himself in this very very bad position. which can end his career and life.

  45. also millions of Russians will refugee into Europe. in this decade. the Russian sort of semi civil war will last for ten years. the break ups I think will be mainly peaceful. since the Russian state will probably not have the army or finances to hold on to rebellious states.
