  1. well Im thinking the war ends when a coalition of military and civlian oligarchs removes Putin from power due to not only defeats in the war, the increasing micromanagement by Putin but also the decision of Putin to use nukes in Ukraine. there will be chaos in the Russian command and control which the Ukrs will use to their advantage by launching major offensives. and cause a near collapse of hte Russian lines in Ukraine. by this time(which I think will occur in the 2025 to 2026 timeline,) putin has much lost the confidence of everyone else in Russia. and is in a very desperate situation. After the junta is firmly in power, there will be a call for a ceasefire and peace talks to end the war. Then later a total withdrawal of Russian forces back to 90s borders. in exchange total lifting of all sanctions and financial support for the new Moscow gov. This causes a lot of outrage among the Russian ultranaionlists and there is unrest in Moscow and St. Petersburg. and the Russian withidrawal is a mess. I can say Ukraine gets back to 90s borders with Russia, Russia slides into unrest as its economy collapses . in the chaos the Russian army munities en masse due to non payment of wages. and militias and PMCs spring up all over Russia hiring these foremr Russian army vets. and Russia takes a few years to slide to civil war. basically between Moscow gov(Junta) vs. Ultra nationalists vs. secessionists.
