If putin was smart, he would not have attacked Ukraine at all, bettered his relationship with the west and improved the Russian economy, He would have been compared to Peter the great but of course what he did would be to destroy his legacy in the future. and be known as one of hte worst Russian leaders ever. probably comparable to Czar Nicholas II
