  32. while I greatly greatly sympathize with the clerk since I used to be in his shoes myself, if the state of Florida was to look at this, the clerk shot first and the perps shot back in self defense. the clerk could be charged with attempted murder, and the perps charged with shoplifting. What the clerk should have done. Just let it go. however if the clerk were to chase after the perps, keep cool in the head, yah you can brandish your fire arm just in case but dont shoot unless shot first or you see the guy in the car pointing a gun. Anyways, I think the clerk will be let off, as the clerk will say they pointed the gun at him and he fired in self defense fearing for his life.
