  2. while I am very much anti Putin, I highly doubt it that Japan will be able to get back the Kuriles and Sakhalin, we are talking about almost no more indigenous Japanese population in those islands, practically all of them were either killed in 45 or deported en masse to Hokkaido. the population is almost all ethnic Russian and the locals will fight tooth and nail against Japanese attempts to get back the islands. Even in a Russian civil war scenario.

I find it amusing Putin threatening bad consequences if anyone interferes, how about the USA NATO and their allies giving a lot of weapons financial aid and even volunteers to Ukraine hahahaah, what did the Russians do complain and threaten to nuke the west hahahaha.   6. in short Putin's delusion of a NATO threat leads him to invade Ukraine which will destroy Russia. wow, crazy Russian's follow such a leader like Putin who does not care about his own people but his own psycho vanity. After Putin is gone and Russia goes into a blood civil war which kills millions and creates the worst European refugee crisis since the end of WW2. well. Russians will really regret the day Putin came to power. Putin's name will be an insult in future Russian vocabulary and probably compared to hitler as someone who has taken a great toll on Russia and its people.
