  3. So true about Chiang who could do land reform or he gets a bullet to head by his allies. the land owners. After the Northern expedition in 1929, Chiang tried nation building and solidifying KMT rule over China by trying to disarm and tax his warlord allies, well they did a civil war against him called the Central Plains war of 1930, yes Chiang won but all sides were so weakened that Chiang just let the warlords do whatever they want in their jurisdictions, and the KMT army was so weakened the Japanese took advantage and invaded Manchuria in 1931.(since the Manchurian warlord's best troops were far south helping Chiang win vs. the rebelling warlords).

  4. its quite hilarious the USA already knew when and where the Russians were going to invade in Feb 2022 and Biden came out in public and called out Putin. Something that Putin and his inner circle knew about, even many of his generals were not told of this.

  5. yep ever since Eastern Europe, and the Baltic states got free of teh Soviet yoke and joined the EU and NATO, well, they have much better lives than ordinary Russians. and since Putin invaded ukraine, the Swedes and Finns joined NATO, that means they know something of what Putin will do to them.

  8. Putin has a very stupid double down plan in Ukraine, in fact its very similiar to hitler vs. theh Allies in WW2 , a double down plan and no fall back plan. Guess what happened to hitler 6 years after he started WW2 by invading Poland in 1939....committed suicide in a bombed out Berlin bunker with Soviet tanks a few hundred meters from it. As for Putin a similiar but same lethal fate, however both hitler and Putin have their legacies destroyed , they will have no monuments to their names, their names would be equated with brutality and genocide. Sure they will be well studied by future historians but their legacies are shit. heck Im not surprised if future Russians will think its in very poor taste to name someone Putin .

  10. Yep very much like present day Russia, lying is everything. Like their officers to gov officials have to lie always say the good news to their bosses or else they lose their jobs and or lives. Yep the Russian way has not much differed since the Soviet times. This is a ongoing disaster for Russia in Ukraine.

The only way to change the Russian way of thinking of the old school empire way is for them to get a proper liberal democratic gov. and school their kids and populations that its no good to do these things. nad it will take decades for hte population to throw off their old thinking and embrace teh 21st century. and not be stuck in Soviet or Czarist 19th or 20th century way of thinking.

  13. and its going on in Ukraine as we speak , Russians soldiers are being ordered to execute their fellow wounded soldiers esp. the convicts and the third world volunteers ...why??? since the Russian officers dont want the burden of wounded soldiers that would impact their bad supply situations and the Russian officers deem these guys as expendable and useless and do not want them eating supplies which are important to regular Russian soldiers. hence Cannon fodder in the Russian army meat is expendable. Also these Russian executed wounded soldiers are not even listed in the books in the Russian army and if so listed as missing in action so the state does not have to pay their loved ones death benefits. The Russian state saves money.

  17. this current Ukraine war will define Russia for the 21st century, I forsee Russia going into civil war due to the strains of war, Putin being removed from power by a combination of uprising from the Russian people, military, oligarchs, Then a civil war. a very bloody Russian civil war which breaks up Russia and kills millions makes millions more refugees. However the new Russia that will emerge after this civil war , a smaller but European leaning liberal democratic Russia having shaken off the shackles of its Soviet past and prospoerous too joining NATO and the EU. decades after the civil war is over. but at the cost of humiliation, millions of dead, and massive loss of territory. Future Russian will look back and say hey we wish Zelensky was our leader instead of Putin, we would rather have a sane comedian actor than a insane KGB officer worker.
