  1. I lived with 300 pecent inflation throughout the mid to late 80s in the Philippines. Yah the only safe haven is the USD which we bought at the black market for like 2 to 3 X the central bank rate, these days the best way to preserve your wealth in Argentina is to buy USD crypto stablecoins, yep you bypass the 2X rates of the Blue dollar black market retaiilers. and buy USD at the central bank rate. USDC, USDT , BUSD , take your pick.

  2.  @unzurdosingracia2405  There was no dollarization of the Philippine peso , but USD was very popular in the PH middle to upper classes at the time due to a unstable Peso, the PH central bank limited USD at the official rate but you can buy USD in the black market and at even 1.5X the central bank rate if you have connections,
