This war is starting to look like the opening phases of the 1st chechen war with shades of the Russo Finnish winter war of 1940 , with mobile Ukr units ambushing roadbound Russian columns with poor or no air support. yah the Russian helicopters supporting those Russian supply columns is a massive improvement over their fuck ups earlier in the war but I think Ukr is ready for that, you have ambush teams armed with Javelin and NLAW ATGMs supported by Stinger teams. which I think is already happening. The Russian have an overwhelming advantage in artillery and surface to surface missles.along with aircraft I dont think that can really be countered. So all depends on who breaks first the Ukrainian or Russian political will to fight. As of now I think the Russian will to fight is getting more fragile compared to the Ukrainian ones who are still very much motivated to fight.

@8wayz2shine and the Russians had the same problem in the siege of Leningrad 41 to 44, they were down to cannibalism after they ate all the animals in the city. and the Ukrainians are just as tought as the Russians.

and the Russian political situation is also not good, lots of Rusian civilian discontent on the war, and reports of his own gov. officials and FSB do not like this war and may be sabotaging it by giving intel to the west. also factor in poor morale in the RUssian army, a collapsing economy. weapons supplies shortages since 60 percent of current Russian missle systems have vital imported components and their weapons factories use imported machinery. and according to FSB reports, the Russian economy only has until June and after that cannot support teh war in Ukraine as the Russian economy implode. Also factor in Putin's psychology where he tries to win at all costs. It will be the end of Putin when he does a call up of his reserves. This will breask the public's morale and result in revolts in Russia. Putin may decide to use nukes, but I think the Russian military will refuse and have him removed . I have a feeling that this war will end within this year possibly by summer or fall of 2022, with a Ukraine victory. as Putin is removed and probably killed by his own people. but until then this war will become more nastier and more brutal.

supposedly according to the FSB reports, Russia has about until June to win or the Russian economy will not be able to support the war, Im not surprised if Russia starts sourcing weapons from China hahaha. oh the humiliation.

Even if Russia "wins" in Ukraine by conquering its major cities, and occupying the country its economy and army will be in no state to pacify the country in fact if Putin if he becomes completely deranged actually attacks NATO , his army will get crushed. within the first week.
