well I hear early in this war in 2022 that Putin's decision to invade Ukraine was caused partly by his enforced isolation due to covid fears(cabin fever) and steroids and other medications to treat his parkinsons and rumored cancer. All this worked on his ego which caused him to give the go ahead for the invasion.

@EconLessons that one too the isolation meds and probably his advisors telling him he is always right, probably made his regular brain go more mental. He probably relalizes what he has done was a gigantic mistake and is trying to get out, like DESPERATELY trying to get out. That is why whenever I see him on his interview rants these days , he looks like a guy who is desperate you can see it in his eyes and demeanor.
