  1. well this video assumes the Chinese navy is competent and has formidable ships, however from what I hear, the Chinese navy and air force while better disciplined and less corrupt than their Russian counterparts they suffer from: 1. lack of combat experience . 2. Centralized Soviet style military doctrine. 3. Chinese ships copied Russian and Soviet designs however have been made on the cheap and made fast which have compromised damage control systems. Hey does it seem familiar to the current Russian navy or ships like the Moskva. 4. Chinese air force and navy are trained by the Russians, need I say more. 5. Also Chinese hadnt had a major war since the one month short Sino Vietnam war of 1979 which the Chinese armed forces performed badly. The Chinese never had a succesfful naval campaign in the last several hundred years. I think while the Chinese navy heavilly outnumbers the Japanese, the Japanese will much punch above its weight , and not only hold back the Chinese navy and air forces but also savage it, and when the US pac fleet comes in...its GOOD NIGHT IRENE for the Chinese navy and air force.

  2. I highly doubt it if the Japanese will intervene in any war in Taiwan or outside Japanese waters vs. China due to guilt from the second Sino Japanese war 1937 to 1945. However the Japanese navy will do self defense if the Chinese attack into Japanese waters. and if that happens , the Japanese navy will be backed up by the USN plus navies from Australia, NZ, UK, China will be really stupid to start a war here or in Taiwan.

  5.  @42VS42  the Japanese dont want to get into another shooting war with China. , Chinese tourists and and trade with China provide lots of capital for Japan. Japanese gov does not want to endanger this to intervene in a war outside the boundries of Japan.
