  1. its true, Japan is cheaper than the USA and Western Europe. and Canada and Australia, as a Canadian from Vancouver , I found Tokyo to be cheaper than Vancouver. esp. in food and hotel accommodation. Also esp. if I go to places like book off. I can get Japanese manga and other hobby stuff really cheapo. much cheapo than in NOrth America.
