Well I dont think the Russians are that stupid, to actually think the occupied Ukr territories are Russian, the Russians will not fight form them with high morale and motivation, if the Ukrainians attacked Belgorod that is another matter, or attacked Moscow haha, but nope the average Russian while yes he might consider the occupied Ukr territories Russian territory its not the motherland.
