Russians are famous for their stubborn defense, even though abused they fight on hard, since if they retreat they get shot by their commanders. so they go down fighting. or surrender to the enemy. that is OK for ukraine , they want to die, the Ukrainians can make their trip to the afterlife more expedient.

Ukrs are well trained alright, and well armed, meanwhile the Russians are complaining they are low in ammo and supplies and run away, and their commanders shoot their wounded esp. the convict soldiers.
