I remember living in Guangzhou , China back in 1994-1995 when they were just transitioning from a communist to capitalist economy I was walking down a street beside the white swan 5 star hotel and saw a row of Mercedes benzes with PLA military plates and all of them were right hand drive while China was left hand drive. I was later told all those cars were stolen from Hong Kong and shipped to Mainland China by boat haha.

yah I remember when hackers crash Joe blogs economic channel which was also very critical of the Russian economy and the war. Yah he was very technical about how the Russian economy was crashing and the Russian gov used hackers to crash his youtube channel . I remember China and British ruled Hong Kong back in the 70s to 90s was like night and day. Hong Kong orderly, lots of things to buy, nice TV channels, lots of movies to watch, clean more or less. excellent and efficient public transportation nice night life. well made roads then you cross the border, you start seeing pot holes shabilly dressed police in sandals. dirty, people shitting in the streets, few cars, mostly bicycles, polluted, nothing to buy, food dirty , tap water yellow, tv sucks, no movies to watch nightlife sucks.

also I remember I was in a 5 star hotel in Guangzhou China in 94-95, I went to the business center and I saw most of the occupants in the hotel business center were Chinese males, and a lone white American, I sat down and talked to the american in fluent english(Im from the Philippines) but I look Chinese. while doing that , all the Chinese males stopped what they were doing and looked at me shocked. I was later told the Chinese males were rich party officials who were there just to look good and pretend to read english newspapers. even though they cant understand english,.

coming from the Philippines, first time I went to the USA was in 1981 landed in San Francisco, wow not a massive culture shock since lots of USA popular culture in the Philippines, but still loved it , a shock on how different it was from the Philippines, love the weather, the food, how clean and orderly it was and you can buy a lot of stuff.

Currency issues???? Yah the official rate is 1 USD = 85 Rubles, but that is to sell your USD to Rubles, when you buy USD using rubles in Russian banks the real rate is 150 Rubles to 1 USD. LOL. its even worse in the black market , Ive heard 200 to 400 rubles to 1 USD to buy USD but when you are selling USD its 50 rubles to 1 USD LOL. Here in vancouver Canada the Russian Rubles has been discontinued in most currency exchange shops, the few that still offer Russian rubles peg it, to buy CAD using Russian rubles its 1 CAD to 120 Rubles, if you buy Rubles using CAD its 1 CAD = 44 rubles LOL , what a rip off hahahah

@worldview2888 hey what ever your are, and yah i really look chinese since I am Chinese Filipino , I was never sponsored I went there myself using my own money and lived there, you can do that, I dont know from what planet or alternate dimension are you from but people can go in and out of China in the 90s if you have the money and the visa to do so. heck hookers in guangzhou were cheap loved taking my USD. and HKD, the Chinese yuan was shit.

and besides living in China, I remember going as a tourist to the USSR and the Warsaw pact countries in 83, with a tour group, went thru East Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Leningrad, Moscow etc. I remember when I stayed as the Cosmos hotel Moscow , I had the waiter in the Cosmos hotel ask me hey where are you from, I said the Philippines, he said wow that is great hey do you want to buy caviar, I sadi yah, and the waiter led me to big hotel store room and sold me soviet caviar , came in small glass containers with red or blue metal lid, for 5 USD a pop. He told me sorry we only accept USD, Deutsemarks, French Franc, UK pounds but sorry, no Italian Lira or Japanese yen and esp. Russian ruble hahaha. I also remember the Cosmos hotel moscow had a massive lobby , the biggest hotel lobby i have ever seen very impressed with it. one day I was relaxing ini the lobby when a civilian came in the hotel, suddenly all these Soviet guys in suits who were also sititng down inthe lobby all got up and went to the guy, hahah, first thing i thought lots of KGB here haha , not surprised our tour guide and minders were also KGB. heck I gave Philippine Pesos to them as souvenir hahah

shortly after the war ends in a Russian defeat I can see massive hyperinflation happen to the Russian ruble as reality sets in the Russian gov is in so much chaos that it stops supporting the Ruble, I can see 1 million russian rubles to 1 USD shortly after Russia is defeated. heck it will be so bad, the Russians will not accept the ruble but dollarize the Russian economy heck they will accept Pepe meme coins or Kamala meme coins over the Russian ruble as currency.
