  2. I predict the upcoming battle for the donbass will be a military disaster for RUssia not seen since the early stages 1941 operation barbarossa. Scary part is I think it might prompt Putin to use large amounts of his nerve gas on the Ukrainians to force a ceasefire after the Russian army has practically been badly defeated on the battlefield. to prevent the Ukrainian army from taking the whole of the donbass. Then negotiations. and Putin an carve out some sort of victory for his May victory celebrations. The Russians will argue that the Donbass is Russian territory. so he can use chemical weapons as his right. War will end I predict by summer or even May of 2022 with a negotiated settlement. Russians keep eastern Donbass. Russian troops withdraw out of Ukraine. Ukraine later joins the EU. Both sides will declare victory. and Putin during the may celebrations will have a victory march. and say he brought freedom to the republics of LUhansk and Donetsk.

If you wnat to know how they will fight read up on Chad Toyota war of the 80s. That is how they will fight. Toyota pick up trucks vs. tanks the trucks won. The Ukrs used a similiar strategy up north in less open terrain around Kiev. with ATGM ambushes on road bound Russian columns, those Ukrs soldiers were transported by a mix of military and civilan trucks, SUVs, sedans. and APCs.

  4. also I read reports, that Russian long term storage vehicles and ammo supplies are poorly maintained so poorly maintained taht many dont work. cannibalized for spare parts, money stolen. So yah the RUssians maybe have lots of extra AFVs but many dont work.

  5. and the Russians using mass amounts of nerve gas on the battlefield might result for a sort of "win" for Putin but it will be a economic disaster for Russia, war would end. but Russia will be reviled most western companies and investors wont be coming back to Russia. many sanctions may be lifted but Russia will sort of become a pariah state esp. for the Europeans. YOu will still see tensions between Russia and Ukraine. billions wil go to rebuild ukraine. Ukraine and Russia will rearm their militaries . lots of foreign investors will go to Ukraine, and develop its natural gas fields, in fact, Ukraine will be developed to be a natural gas substitute for Russia.
