I can see the PH remaining as a third world nation in Asia. even surpased by Vietnam and even Myanmar. chalk it up to : 1. people brainwashed by their culture and religion, mediocrity is good. you have a problem, dont solve it, pray it away 2. very bad gov corruption and red tape. 3. unstable politics, strong grip of corrupt Filipino political families.

as of Nov 2022, lets see Russia got pushed out of Kharkov badly. humiliating defeat for Russia, it got pushed out of Kherson, and now its trying to win in the DOnbass and failing badly. and its energy threats on Europe are laughed at. and the Russians mobilized like shit, total mismanagement. and that is just 8 months into the war.

if Putin had a different mindset say Lee Kwan Yew wisdom heck even Park chung Hee style gov. Russia would be a great rich state. instead Putin is a moron and focused on trying to force the former USSR states to be a part of the Russian fed. by force if need be. stupid strategy , how about you use your resources to get rich be among the top 5 nations in terms of GDP then talk about expanding the Russia fed by peaceful means. Heck wonder why Putin did not develop its electronics industries. focused on weapons, why putin not develop the poor republics. in short Putin fucked up. and Russia will pay with a civli war and break up balkanizatin after the war is finished with a Russian defeat.

I remember back int he 70s Haiti was a tourist destination and safe due to Papa Doc Duvalier being a brutal no nonsense dictator. however I noticed by the late 70s Haiti was on a downward spiral with high crime rates, and the son of papa doc baby doc being a incompetent leader letting his ministers do all the ruling while he did his job fucking girls and doing drugs.

welll after the Chinese just committed economic suidie with a third term from Xinping Vietnam is being built up by the USA to be the next reciepient of USA investments, as China starts to degrade economically in the next few decades, Vietnam will be rising rapidly. I can see China not liking this at all and focusing to destabilize Vietnam.

@Sully we dont have the worst geographical location in the world the PH hsa some of the best sitting astride shipping lanes which the PH never really took advantage of. Filipinos are blind to their problems.

After the Ukr war is over I dont think the Russians will swing at anyone else but t themselves, I predict in the next decade Russia will slide into civil war, revolution break up. Russia will go thru several govs. but not before you have huge swathes of the Russian fed seceding.

I predict a biden win in 2024 will result in a Russian retreat from Ukraine in around 2026. Russians will cut their losses and blame everything on Putin just like Yeltsin did in Chechnya but he survived. Putin will not . Russian wealth fund is set to run out by 2025, and Russians will begin to suffer tank shortages by 2026. I dont think Russia will collapse but it will undergo a period of political, socail and economic chaos. It will be a hard landing for its economy, but I think Russia will receive economic aid from the USA and EU in exchange for a complete withdrawal from Ukraine which will help cushion an economic collapse . It will be a massive mess, however a new Russian fed will come out and Moscow and the Russian army will have a lot less power , the real power of the new Russia will be the Russian oligarchs and their PMCs. in fact Russian republics and provinces will have a lot more autonomy and probably their own PMCs. The oligarchs will never allow a person like putin to come to power again, Yes Russian will technically be a country with Moscow as its political and economic captial but it will be more decentralized and the provinces can have the chance to develop much better than during the past times. Moscow and St. Petersburg wont be the only cities in Russia that are worth something. the Russian federation will be more like a Russian association a alliance of countries rather than a centralized country. I think eventually down the decades Russia might actually break up for real,

the Chinese now import the majority of their oil from Russia, in the future I expect the CHinese to buy up Russian oil corporations and influence secessionists to take control of Russian oil producing territory.
