Even if Putin declares an end to war but does not withdraw back to pre war borders, Ukraine will not accept such an end and continue fighting.

Reminds me of China when it invaded Vietnam in 1979, with the stated goal of making Vietnam withdraw from Cambodia and to punish Vietnam. After one month of war where the Chinese advanced to striking distance of Hanoi.(85 miles to the capital city of Hanoi) but suffered 60K casualties (30 percent of the invasion force), the Chinese declared the war over and they withdrew back to their borders saying they taught Vietnam a lesson and won the war , Vietnam did not withdraw from Cambodia until 1989. and Vietnam and China fought brutal border battles throughout the 1980s. So Russia can do a China in the Ukraine war.

wagner as a force is done for only a few comapnies of battered regulars, their convicts have been given over to Shoigus Patriot PMC. the ones doing the real fighting these days in Bakhmut is the Russian army, with the 98th VDV and the 20th Guards Motor Rifle divisions fully committed at Bakhmut along with Shoigus patriot PMC convicts. Interestingly the home city of the 20th guards motor rifle XX is in Volgograd which was formerly known as Stalingrad ,,,,how fitting.. Wagner companies hold the rear and flanks. Loud mouthed taking all the credit.

@UNIVERSAL-UR let see the facts are Russia used to control about 30 percent of Ukraine now Russia only controls 15 percent. , Russia has taken ukrainian territory lately at like 0.1 percent. in 5 months and 50,000 dead later, Pathetic from a so called 2nd strongest country in the world , now a bitch to China and losing the war in Ukraine hahahah. Russia is probably #4, the Russian army is so bad, Finland can capture St. petersburg hahah.

Wagner I think is overestimated, there are several other Russian PMCs and yes wagner is hte most visbile but not the strongest, it used to be. Now its Shoigus Patriot PMC that is now top dog.
