  1. well we have to be realistic and pragmatic, I think what will happen if aid stops. Ukraine goes on the defensive no more offensives, and agrees with a USA brokered peace settlement to the war, the Russians will probably launch a major offensive to take as much land as possible. before the armistice happens. Russia gets to keep whatever land it took. There will be no peace treaty both sides will remain at war, and both sides will prepare for the next war which will occur within the decade. Putin will spin this as a victory. and he will remain in power. however sanctions will remain. and reconstruction money will pour into Ukraine. I dont think Putin will attack again knowing how much it cost him , while Putin declares victory, there will be recriminations after the war vs. Putin and for the Russians it wont feel like a victory. I think there will be a coup vs. Putin a few years after the war is over due to worsening economic and political conditions. and Russia will probably fall into some sort of disorder . for the next decade or so.
