The USSR in WW2 won due to its main enemy the Germans fighting a two front war and the AMericans and British not only distracting the Germans in the west, but also bombing the crap out of Germany, it greatly helped ease up the German pressure on the Soviets when the Luftwaffe was very much slaughtered during the American and British round the clock bombing runs over Germany , also massively helped was the aid the USA and British gave to the Soviets in terms of weapons and food. most importantly was the thousands of US made trucks which modernized Soviet logsitics which at the start of the war mainly relied on horse and cart transport. those thousands of US made trucks made possible the Soviet 1944 to 1945. offensives into Germany and Eastern Europe and later the final act vs. Japan in Manchuria.

Also the Russians never evolved from that Soviet war doctrine of complete disregard of human lives . Heck the Russian Ukraine strategy of this Ukraine war 2022 to present is pretty much similiar to the Soviet combat tactics in 1940 to 43, which means unimgainative clumsy brutal frontal assaults with complete disregard for human lives and losses. The Russian army has pretty much devolved and did not learn the lessons from its past wars.

@konstantinkelekhsaev302 whatever another Russian denier that the USA and British did not help the Soviets critiically if it werent for us giving the Soviets massive amounts of aid and distracting the Germans with a western front and bombing their industry, USSR would be speaking german by now.

@ddoumeche nope, Soviet generals were not the best of the lot, in fact the Soviets could not have conducted the offensives in 44 and 45 if it werent for the American British aid. oh yah Kursk 43 the German withdrew large portions of their army to deal with the Allied invasion of Italy, if the allies did not do that the Germans would have broken thru Soviet defenses.

The Russians before the war was touting how advanced their military is and how they could defeat NATO in a war. haha. well now they have just gotten a very cold dose of reality to their faces.

I think Biden will win 2024 this year and the dems will sweep and gain control of the house and senate, the Rep party is in a big mess full of maga whackjobs a big turn off for American voters. the polls might show Trump in the lead but I dont believe the polls. when the dems sweep the board this year 2024, 2025 will be annus horribilis for Putin , Trump , Russia, and Maga and the US rep party. with the dems in control of the white house, congress and senate, they will probaxbly approve the largest aid package to Ukraine, and this will have a massive effect on the war in Ukraine, in 2025, and beyond, and also the USA dems sweeping the board int he 2024 elections will have a massive impact on the Kremlin, I think mental depression will reign on the heads of the Russian leaders and propogandists, doom and gloom and all that. Im not surprised if the Ukrainians score major victories in 2025 forcing the Russians to mobilize more men and even worse the Russian economy starts going down in a major way in 2025 and 2026. Also Trump goes to Prison and his allies turn on him. Maga is kaput, and the rep party is in civil war between pro maga and anti maga factions.While the war wont end in 2025, I can see it being a ground work for the final outcome of the war which I think might end in 2026 or 2027. as the biden admin finally wants to get rid of the Russia problem once and for all.

and the Russian army is so bad, that the USA is sending its old weapons to Ukraine, like the HMARs and MLRS missles are just expiring past its shelf life. the Cluster munitions the USA sent is from just expired old stock. and the Ukrainians are using those to defeat the Russian army. Its that embarassing for the Russian army, and the USA is not focusing on the war, USA industry has not yet revved up to supply Ukraine and its already causing the Russian massive problems. Putin is deathly afraid that if the USA and NATO get their act together, he is finished. If PUtin ever provoked NATO to war. the Russians would get kicked form Ukraine and Putin will be kicked out of power and probably lose his life. and monies.

I highly suspect the USA wants to manage the war, so that Russia does not lose to quickly so they want Putin gone but they dont want Russia to collapse, or heck they dont want Putin to get desperate and decide to use nukes to settle Ukraine. USA wants a Russian soft landing with Putin gone, and a peaceful transition of power to a more moderate Russian gov without a civil war. and the Russians will be allowed to save face. I think with this in mind, I can see the Russians be allowed to keep 10 percent of Ukraine, what is left of the frozen Russian funds given back to the Russians to help stave off economic collapse and stabilize Russia post Putin however a part of those funds given to Ukraine will be considered Russian reparations. While the Russian keep Crimea, the Ukrainians are offered EU and NATO membership shortly after the war is over.
