I was actually marching in the people power revolution of 1986 in the Philippines and the 1985 protests near the Malacanang palace in Recto mendiola and also got caught up in a massive Pro Tinnamen student protests in Hong Kong in 1989( I was out shopping in Daimaru Causeway bay and was forced to march with the protesters since all the public transpo was closed). So yep I havef also seen what a revolution looks like.

@davidlium9338 hahah yes and no, I was in Manila in 85-86, at the time , did not like Pres. Marcos at all, and the I was caught up in the protests, was in downtown Manila watching movies in the cinema while the protests were happening so why not participate then after I get tear gassed go watch Terminator or a Django rerun later. in 86 I really went out to march in EDSA and it was like a party atmosphere. In Hong KOng I again got caught up in the protests that one time. haha.

@SiliconCurtain yep seems like it since WW2. They always seem to refer back to the Great patriotic war or the Fall of the Soviet union.
