Russia has a good chance of becoming a Titanic disaster in the next few years, esp. if it loses the Ukraine war. the biggest geopolitical disaster since WW2. I can see Russia becoming a massive geopolitical headache after this, similiar to China in the 1920s when China was ruled by warlords .

Putin driven mad by not only power but also covid isolation and the steroids and other drugs he has been taking to keep him alive. So it can be said that Putin decided to invade Ukraine in a fit of roid rage. and cabin fever

even if Putin manages to survive after this war is over, this war would have very seriously affected his heatlh, he will probably die shortly after, heck maybe die during this war. Like when Stalin died which ended the Korean war in the same year. PUtin's death might end this war.

I think Putin well knows his situation and is super desperate to keep his regime alive , to get something out of this war and turn the Ukrainians to the negotiation table with him having the upper hand. That is why his health has been deteriorating even more recently, I think he has a bunch of doubles who have been standing in for him in public. and I think due to depression in realization of this current predicament is affecting his health badly.

@20chocsaday The Russians can only blame themselves in what ever happens to them next, but not surprsied they blame everyone else except themselves. for their woes
