Problem with the Russians they are sticking to their usual tactics of trying to drown the Ukrainians with their armour , however the open fields they are attackng thru are sown with a lot of Ukrainian mines, and the Ukrs have lots of artillery in the area, along with ATGM teams. also lots of drones going around as well as NATO real time satellite intel. So Russians keep on attacking hoping to make the Ukrainians run out of ammo, moronic strrategy as the Russians have lost a few hundred AFVs so far and a few thousand men. and since its mainly open fields using bakhmut style convict human wave attacks means they get massacred, in fact, in this battle the Ukrainians have artillery superiority and when the Russians open up with artillery, Ukrainians hit them with HMARS and JDAMs with cluster munitions to destroy Russian artillery. Yep the Russians are stupid, they dont have air superiorrity nor artillery superiority and still they keep on attacking. There are strong rumors Putin and his buddies are micromanaging this war and any dissenters who question and dont follow their orders ot the letter are sacked and replaced with yes men.
