  1. You are not legally allowed to seek asylum in a country after leaving your country if you have crossed through another country. You are only allowed to seek asylum in the first country you cross into. The ONLY people on earth who are legally allowed to seek asylum in the US by crossing on foot are Mexicans and Canadians. If you come from anywhere else and then cross through those two borders in any way, you have waived the right to seek asylum. This is not only US law, it’s international law for asylum seekers. You are not allowed to fly from anywhere on earth into Mexico or Canadian, or sail from anywhere to Mexico or Canada, or walk or drive from anywhere into Mexico, and then cross into the US and seek asylum. That is illegal. You may only seek asylum in the FIRST country you set foot in after leaving your country.
