  2. Yeah, it is that that simple. If you have laws that SUPPORT squatting, then you can not stop squatters. But when you make laws that BAN squatting, you can stop squatters. Squatters are just people who BREAK into houses and try to steal the whole house. Make that ILLEGAL, and make it so that cops can just ARREST them on the spot, just like they can arrest people who commit robbery or assault, or burglary. Yeah. It’s that easy. Not sure why this wasn’t done fifty years ago. Or really why squatting was ever allowed to become a real thing.
