I live in Florida I own a home I haven’t paid off yet. I have to carry hurricane insurance by law. If the rates keep going up I’ll have to sell and leave the state. I make $100,000 per year and have no debt aside from mortgage, and my credit score is 815. I’m living paycheck to paycheck because the cost of health insurance, food, gas, and pretty much everything is so high. So when home owner insurance goes up, I get screwed. I’m going to be forced out of the state by these prices.
