  1. He told you the opposite of what the trauma surgeons I work with have told me. Higher velocity equals a bigger kinetic energy transfer. When it comes to pistol rounds, none of them really do very much damage compared to rifles. Speed kills.

  3.  @tomboone201  They lied to you. Don’t ask a cop what a bullet does to people. Ask a surgeon or OR nurse. How would a cop know anyway? The only target they consistently hit are family pets.
