@erikmelonn What's sad? The comment above yours? The OP (original post)?????????? I don't think either were sad... Pretty sure Ilia Adamant Hark meant that knowing suffering is also amazing because it lets us be way more appreciative of joy, happiness etc, than ignorant creatures not aware of fear of death etc

...and ppl shun psychedelics! 🙄 The number of enlightening experiences thousands of ppl report are staggering! I am glad it's slowly being demystified nowadays!!!! What a nice way to put it! 'We're all the same dude from different angles'.

@thellama3239 The Llama is WISE! I too, am surprised by ppl that believe there is nothing to our consciousness after death.... Especially in these times where it's so clear and obvious that this could all be a simulation! I know Descartes has been saying that many years ago but now we already see VR games that should make it clear, in the future, VR will be indistinguishable from a real experience... You have no way to know... If u must label yourself, wouldn't 'agnostic' make more sense?

To the OP (Eddard Stark): i think it's all part of the program...without great suffering there isn't the same capacity of great learning/growth....

@benhardcastle2305 IF this story is true, you don't need to feel bad - look at it from the perspective that it's like a computer game! I.e. Even if ur character is doing bad things - YOU are not! Nor are you hurting anyone ('cept yourself perhaps! 😉), it's just an experience, like a simulation, for you to learn from!
