why is there no such thing as a psych unit. That guy 100% could have been saved if 2-3 psychiatrists or even psych-nurses or councilors would have gone to him. Sometimes just talking to these ppl w mental health or substance problems can bring them down...Problem is you have these officers have have this bizarre urgency that ends up ESCALATING the situation and it hardly ever ends well...

@TooManyChoices1 Anyone who calls for that is not really suicidal. Surely you and everyone else, knows it's very easy to put a belt around your neck and wait to pass out then die from lack of blood flow/?.. it's painless... People do it by accident it's that easy. A child could do it... These ppl that ask for cops are extremely distraught and not thinking clearly. They need help and my point was thet the police don't even HAVE a psych unit.

@TooManyChoices1 you completely misunderstand me completely... again.. this is a problem of this medium (writing in comments) - No offense but i'm talking about a BLOOD CHOKE - not hanging. It is extremely EASY and doesn't even require as much pressure as blocking someone's airway. You can breathe and talk while doing it. You will pass out and after about 6 mins your brain will die from lack of oxygen. It is easy and it kills ppl by accident all the time. Are you not awaye of BJJ? That;s what a choke is (it's not an airway choke, it's the bloodflow. Look up 'rear naked choke' or 'leg triangle'... Hell, i demonstrated it on a co-worker in a cafe with a TEA-TOWEL! Maybe ppl aren't as aware as i assumed! BE CAREFUL!!!! DON'T DO IT UNLESS SOMEONE YOU TRUST IS NEAR BY! (I nearly killed myself messing with a blood pressure machine this way! You know the band that goes around your arm, then they pump it up with air - well, i put it around my neck and was laughing saying, look, i can breathe through it! - The last thing i remember hearing is my friend saying, 'You're gonna pass out if you keep....')... Yeh... luckily he took it off my neck.) Do you get it now? NO ONE NEEDS TO DO VIOLENT THINGS OR INVOLVE OTHERS IF THEY WANT TO CHECK OUT! IT TRAUMATISES THE COPS! DON'T DO IT! IT'S NOT FAIR ON THEM!
