Completely justified use of force buuuuuut..... and I i know i know i know - i have seen ALL the training and tests and experiments buuuuut in this case, surely one of them could have tried the taser option!... It's a slight risk but u can try firing taser and running if you need to... just saying.... 2:17 'Hey less lethal' call! Yes, that's what I'm talking' about! <-- should have said that muuuch earlier and maybe these guys need a CODE for 'less lethal' because it almost seemed as if the victim/suspect knew the taser was about to be deployed and that's what made him charge. ^^ oh jesus, i hadn't seen the 2:40 onwards bit... that cop that is trying to put his gun away as he's being charged.... that was a big mistake.... : (

and then also BJJ.... ALL POLICE SHOULD LEARN BJJ - Grappling... all his instincts when the guy grabbed him were WRONG.

2:48 i don't think i've ever seen such a crazy mistake... this poor cop had the 'use less lethal' and 'tase him' commands locked in his brain... it's like he couldn't think for himself anymore... panic... he kept kinda 'locked in' and fixated on 'tase him'... 'i must tase him' thought.... Even when the guy is bearing down on him.... crazy..... trying to holster your pistol as you're about to be attacked!

@TheCopaMundial ah, i glossed over the whole thing really quickly - if you say so, i'll take your word for it... i don't have time to re-watch. I'm always pissed off at the horrible training and lack of training they get... The best training i have seen for close up scuffles is the young Gracie guys police and military course (Renor?)... Anyway, if you're in a position to, steer police depts that way!!!

[EDIT watched again, look at 2:36 that's his PISTOL - he never got to the taser and i know about securing your pistol but i am saying he should have shot... not holstered or tried to secure.]
