As someone with a naturally innovative brain, THIS INFURIATES me! 🤬 It is EASY and CHEAP and SIMPLE to reinforce key areas, put sleds, emergency wheels (i mean solid ones, like a roller-blade has), rows of them, or ball-bearings or even other mechanism (could be only exposed in emergencies).... ON ALL PARTS THAT TOUCH GROUND IN Wheels-Up landing!!! DECADES OF WATCHING CATASTROPHIC DAMAGEs and NO ONE DOES THIS!?!? I could come up with at least 10 ideas, without even thinking too much!!!! I bet i could DESIGN at least 4 without any great engineering knowledge! Knowing how air-operators, manufacturers etc operate (always saving every last cent), i bet it's just greed that prevents life-saving tech!. (P.s. I am CPL qualified pilot but not an engineer. I realize we're talking about enormous heat generation when metal slides across rwy at 200+knots and drag etc..but that is all the more reason SOMETHING other than engine cowlings and fuselage should be there to DEAL with the ground!!!! Ffs.. some kind of sled! It could be NON-METAL!! Like some heat resistance super polymer... It's not like it has to last long! JUST ONCE!)

  2. I don't like the approach to 'ban' or make illegal weapons. I personally think it is a human right to carry a knife. Just like making a fire... We evolved using tools. We are humans.... Make assault illegal! Make murder illegal but to ban guns or knives etc is ridiculous! Just consider things like the fact that a chef needs a knife as his tool for work to see how insane and illogical it is. Also, why shouldn't ppl be able to carry weapons for self defense. Clearly there are 'bad' people out there - so why shouldn't you be able to defend yourself?! Do you realise, here in Australia, it's ILLEGAL to wear a bullet proof vest?! (i think even a stab-proff vest, is illegal)... HOW INSANE! (You can't even have a defensive item??!)

  7. EXACTLY! We have LAWS AGAINST VIOLENCE! You don't need laws against tools! That is insane. You realise you can stab someone with a screw driver, right?.... Also, consider a chef's knife... Making it illegal to carry a knife is absurd!
